As a creative director, my concepts are usually based on events that have historical significance, from an African American perspective. In photo shoots, the models are portrayed as characters and the images have a candid appearance.

VANITY FAIR

When travelling photographer, Jasmina Kimova, based out of South Carolina, made her way to Austin, TX, she found the only wardrobe stylist in the city who could bring her vision to life. With the help of All Dolled Up makeup and hair studio, and HMUA Jessica Tolbert, we fit, dressed, styled and photographed 12 models in 6 hours using my living room and front porch as the studio space; this was the beginning of Style Studio ATX.

THE ROYAL STEWARDESS

The concept behind this collection was to imagine that airlines existed in the 16th century, then style models as flight attendants during the Elizabethan era.
